  • The role entails managing, capturing, and editing content for Messiah Community Church, primarily through video production. This includes recording events, editing footage, collaborating with volunteers and ministry leaders, and maintaining recording equipment. The leader must be located in Maryland, preferably in Reisterstown, and have experience in video filming, editing, and working with creative teams. Preferred skills include proficiency in online platforms, multitasking, creative thinking, and strong communication. The candidate must demonstrate commitment to the church's vision, get along with others, uphold Christ-like character, and be open to teaching and correction. They should also build systems to enable growth and be adept at conflict resolution. Additionally, they may be assigned special projects as needed, must meet targets set by leadership, and comply with organizational rules and procedures regarding equipment use and maintenance.

  • This role involves creating engaging content that reflects the organization's mission and values across social media platforms. Responsibilities include managing accounts, fostering engagement, supporting campaigns, analyzing metrics, and ensuring brand consistency. Qualifications include a passion for the organization's mission, familiarity with social media platforms, strong communication skills, creativity, basic analytics understanding, and proficiency in graphic design tools. Preferred skills include creative writing, social media platform proficiency, graphic design proficiency, familiarity with management tools, understanding of analytics, proactive community engagement, adaptability to trends, time management, brand consistency, collaboration, moderation, understanding of advertising principles, event coverage, and willingness to provide training and support. These skills collectively contribute to a successful Social Media Team Member who can effectively amplify the organization's voice and engage its community online.

  • We are looking for an experienced Event coordinator to organize excellent events. You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from choosing venues to evaluating success afterwards. You will be a champion of collaborations and keeping all affected departments informed and engaged. An event coordinator must be well-organized and competent in vendor management. Communication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates. Add a shot of enthusiasm and passion for the job and you’ll be our ideal candidate. The goal is to organize unforgettable events that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives. Preferred skills include collaborating with ministry leaders, working in fast-paced environments, multitasking, creative thinking, strong communication skills, physical ability to handle equipment, and knowledge of relevant software. The ideal candidate should demonstrate commitment to the church's vision, get along with others, exhibit Christ-like character, build systems for others' growth, and be skilled in conflict resolution.

  • The MCC Guest Concierge, also known as Guest Relations Manager, provides specialized customer service to ensure a positive experience for guests at Messiah Community Church. Responsibilities include greeting guests, performing administrative duties, arranging transportation and activities, making reservations, and providing local information. Qualifications include workplace experience in customer service, proficiency in MS Office and other platforms, vendor management skills, and excellent communication abilities. Preferred skills include commitment to the church's vision, interpersonal skills, Christ-like character, capacity for system-building, and conflict resolution.

  • The Youth Pastor is responsible for fostering spiritual growth, planning and leading activities, and providing guidance to young people in our church. The successful candidate is a committed Christian who is passionate about helping young people grow in their faith. Their duties include organizing and collaborating with the Student Director for youth events or retreats to encourage community building, teaching Sunday school and other educational programs and communicating with church staff about faith education needs. Preferred skills include commitment to the church's vision, interpersonal skills, Christ-like character, capacity for system-building, and conflict resolution.
